"Jo Ann took care of a rich man and the old geezer became so devoted to his nurse that he left her a fortune. But what has Arlene been doing all these years?"
"Well she graduated from Albany in 1960 and taught social studies for two years in Florida and is now a senator or do you call them 'Senatoress?" But I doubt if her political carreer lasts long because she's now engaged and it's rumored that it's to a former classmate!"
"Look at that slick dressed babe coming in now. I do believe that's Bette Gallucci from California."
"She used to be Bette Oblisnki, the famous cook, didn't she? What became of her cousin, Patty?
"Oh, Pat! HaHa! Didn't you read about her in the papers? It got so she was getting so much mail from so many servicemen that they had enough mail coming in Doonoon's Corners to have a Post Office errected. Patty always was concerned in seeing that there were democratic public reforms for her "Fellow Men!" Now, they don't have to use the Pony Express over there."

"Well, Big John Widdecomb, as he's referred to professionally since he's gone to playing basketball on a big scale, is the Best Man and James D. Nesbitt, New York's most "loved" undertaker, is the other usher. Did you know Jim has been practicing a new preserver for his projects? He got it from some Egyptian dancer from the Latin Quarter and now all his customers are looking like mummies!"
"You remember Joan Bellino? Well, that's she sitting in front of us now with her husband. Goeorge has taken air force up as a career and they've built a new home near the base in Alaska. They just flew in a few hours ago."
"Thinking of all this fast speed business, isn't it too bad that John Appleman couldn't be here today? You know they've got a radio hook-up between the hospital and the church so at least he'll hear the wedding. He got hurt last week while making a test run at the Fly-Away Speedway and trying out those new automitive supersonic ejection seats.

"Mary Mason and Louise Truax are in charge of the reception this afternoon. Of course both girls are married now, but the worst part is that all their homemaking work in high school is wasted because they both married rich men and have maids."
"I hardly recognized Doug Ackerley. He's been out of the service several years now and owns his own dairy farm somewhere out in Kortright."
That's Cecil Cairns, Aubert Mason, and Frank Chapman coming in now. Hi, Boys!, They're all farmers too. But Cecil went to Cornell for a couple years for extension work and Aubert's invented a way to do milking without having to get u in the morning. He makes his wife do the milking! Frank, however has gone into the chicken business. He's got quite a brood, now (of chickens that is!)"
"My doesn't Virgil Macaluso look like he was important just because he's a chemist and was awared the Nobel Peace Price last year for his work with atoms. That looks like the Palm's coming in with him."
Charlie is still a professor at Harvard, isn't he?"
"Yes, but I think he's going into politics next fall. President, no less!"
"Why here comes Wallie. Bet he's got a lot of money since his songs have become top hits. He has his own T. V. show called "The Bass'n Street Blues". Remember what a low voice he always had?"
"What ever became of Odette Icart?"
"Oh, she's a teacher in a private school down in New Orleans. Her French looks and background make her look right at home there I'll bet."
"What's Betty Rosecrans been doing the past few years?"
"Well, she became a nursh but not for long. She married a real handsome doctor."
"And what are you doing now, Bobbie?"
"Oh, I'm still an old maid school teacher like I predicted in high school. I've spent some time teaching in Germany, but my Old Maid activities keep me quite busy."
"Why bless my sould if Kenny Brockway isn't the minister! What's that he said?"
"He said that Mary and Hanky have had a fight and the wedding's called off, but there'll be a reunion of the Class of '56 in the parsonage instead!"
