BILLIE MAE KIEL
Often overlooked in the excitements of our lives is the long range effect people have on the communities to which they belong. This effect is less dramatic at the time but may influence people more in the long run. When we think of Billie Mae we think of a pleasant smile, a friendly attitude, and an exceptional willingness to help others. And when these were taken from us in Billie Mae's tragic death we died a little too. Our responsibility now becomes one of growth so that we become more willing to give the help and friendhsip which she once gave, that her memory may be truly honored.
