TO THE CLASS OF 1971:
It is a pleasure to me to extend congratulations to the members of the senior class for both your individual and your collective accomplishments. I would also like to extend congratulations to the members of the staff of the 1971 ALMEDIAN for their effors in producing this fine Yearbook.
Having begun my acquaintance with the Class of 1971 only this year I sincerely wish that I might have had time to know each of you better. Nevertheless, I have known you well enough to be proud of the standards and goals which you chose and I am grateful for the wholehearted spirit of enthusiasm and cooperation evidenced by you.
As a class, you have compiled an enviable record of achievement. You have upheld the worthwhile traditions of South Kortright Central School and, more important, have contributed to their improvements. In leaving, you take with you not only treasures of knowledge and skill but the demonstrated intention to use them in a responsible manner.
It is my sincere hope that the future will afford many opportunities for the successful realization of your highest goals and that you will always remember with pride your days at South Kortright Central School.
Sincerely,
Ivan W. Beams
