This year the student council sponsored the annual Christmas party. They also supervised the selection of an emblem for the school, The symbol of a ram was chosen. For the second semester they planned a talent show and a full length movie.

During 1953 our chapter won first in the chapter contest, first in the poultry contest. Individual awards were; Allan Frazier, first in the Poultry Contest and Robert Bligh, Empire Farmer Degree. The awards were won at the State FFA Convention at Wellsville.
In the National Chapter Contest, we won a bronze emblem award.
