SOUTH KORTRIGHT CENTRAL SCHOOL
South Kortright, New York
To the Class of 1951:
As your high school days rapidly draw to a close, each of you is looking forward to the realization of certain dreams. Our wish for you is that the plans for your future may develop far beyond fondest expectations.
You have often heard it said that high school days are the happiest times of one's life. This is a misstatement, as i know the years ahead will prove. To think for a moment that youth is happier than maturity is like saying that the view from the bottom of a cliff is better than the view from the top of the cliff. As we climb the mountain, the range of our view widens greatly and the horizon is pushed farther away. So it will be for you as you take on added responsibilities. Your mind will be strengthened and enriched; thereby giving a variety to life that helps to make it so enjoyable.
With sincere best wishes
