The South Kortright Dairy Boys of the Future Farmers of America, composed of 18 members in school and 5 out of school, has had a very successful year.
At the Delaware County Fair last summer we won over $150 in prices at the fair.
In November Herbert Hait attended the National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
On February 26th five members of the Judging team placed first in the county contest held at Delhi Agricultural School.
On March 19th we attended the county-wide spring rally at Delhi, where we won the 1949 second place basketball championship banner.
We held our annual Father and Son Banquet on April 1st with Mr. R. C. S. Sutliff as our speaker. He also presented the certificate of Honorable Mention, to President Herbert Hait. This certificate was won in the National Chapter contest for the last two years.
