Last Will and Testament of the Class of '46
We, the Senior Class of South Kortright Central Schook, town of Stamford, County of Delaware, New York, U. S. A., in this year of our Lord nineteen hundred and forty-six do hearby publish our last will and testament being of sound mind and able bodies. (We hope!)
First: We extend our sincere thanks to the Board of Education for all privileges mad epossible in obtaining our education. We also leave them the responsibility of presenting us with our diplomas.
Second: To the Faculty we extend our deepest appreciation for their guidance and willing cooperation which they have so efficiently bestowed upon us.
We bequeath to the entire Junior Class our home room 31, back seats in the auditorium and ourbrains. Brains, that is.
Howard Rich and Willeita Beckett leave the back roads, which will be vacated, to Richard Rivanera and Mary St. George.
Richard Babcock bequeathes his techniquie with the girls to Stanley Chichester.
To June Oakley, Willy Beckett leaves her charming little giggle.
Edwin Benedict wills his ability to talk his way out of tough situations to Jimmy Clark.
Charles Bower leaves his ability to get into trouble to Walter Davis.
Edwin Brandes leaves his ability to get along with the girls to Jimmy cillis.
Doris Champlin leaves her sewing ability to Eva Jacobs.
Loreen gilmour wills "Pete" to the next Senior Class.
To Miss Davis, Doris Gulneck leaves her gum chewing.
To the next year's Basketball Champions, Frances Hait leaves her ability to play basketball.
Rose Li Puma leaves her dancing ability to Louise Murdock.
Wallace Many leaves his knowledge to the next year's seniors. We hope they make good use of it because they will surely need it.
To Bob Goss, Betty Martin leaves her ability to influence Miss Russ.
Kenneth Martin leaves his ability to bring home the beef to Junior Dibble.
Wendell Martin leaves his correspondence course to his beloved brother, "Pepper".
Romolo Melucci leaves his basketball ability to Jay Vrooman.
Vivian Nesbitt leaves her ability to "catch on" to jokes to Annette Reynolds.
Marjorie Reynolds leaves a number of her boy friens to Electa Sanford.
Howard Rich leaves his musical ability to Olen Burdick.
Wanda Rifenburg leaves her red-headed temper to Mary St. George.
Hugh Rose leaves his technique? ? ? ? to Gordon Briggs. Helen Sanford leaves her ability of cooking to Mary Dales.
Thelma Snedeker leaves to the next year's typing class, her ability to get along with Mr. Lottridge.
William Walldroff leaves "Minnie" to Dick Rivanera.

Class Poem
All hail the class of forty-six
With our motto, "2XL".
Our honor, as in the world we mix,
It will, unfailing, tell.
We strive for glory and perfection,
On paths of truth we glide.
Our Alma Mater leads our direction
And our motto is the guide.
The White Carnation is our flower
For loyalty and purity it stands.
It's bright amid the sun and shower
And gives hope to many lands.
Freshness and purity of thought and eeed
Inspire our class colors of Green and White.
Led by that banner we have one creed
And that to follow the path of right.
We seniors of forty-six
Have shared sorrow and success.
We have been in many a "fix"
Of that we must confess.
But when the battle's fought and won
When we leave our loyal class;
When graduation is history done
Success will come in years to pass.
Now we're fighting side by side
In striving toward our goal;
May we never, never slide
Though time may take its toll.

Through the years of high school
We had lots of fun,
Even though our teachers
Kept us on the run.
In the line of starting we will always be,
We are always at the top everyone can see.
We the class of '46 have worked hard and long
2-x-L in every way, evein in this song.
Helpful and happy, in our class and school,
We strive 2-x-L this has been our rule.
Seniors of '46, hwere we join at last
Bidding farewell to each and every class.
Now that we are leaving,
We have chosen these
Colors are the green and white,
Carnation if you please.
