Class Prophecy
The class of 1946 as seen in 1956 by the Great Professor Sees-All, Knows-All, and Tells-Everything.
Richard Babcock--Who could never keep his head out of the clouds, is at last satisfied. He now owns a large fleet of airplanes.
Willeita Beckett--Whose mind always ran in two channels, (Rich and nursing) is now a graduate nurse and is happily practicing her knowledge on Rich quality chickens. Incidentally they did get hitched.
Edwin Benedict--Who always was between the devil and the deep blue sea has finally decided to take to the deep blue sea. He is now commander of the U. S. Pacific fleet, but he still has trouble with his women.
Charles Bower--Who was always taking things apart and then putting them back together again (with a few pieces left over) has now found out where the extra pieces go and is a successful mechanic in Bloomville.
Edwin Brandes--Who was quite the Casanova, as far as the gals were concerned is now in Hollywood busy taking first place away from Van Johnson. More power to you, Ed.
Ellen Carpenter--Who has always had trouble with two things, namely a voice that cracks on high "c" and keeping her "flames" from going out, is now a famous radio singer with a long list of disappointed lovers behind her.
Doris Champlin--Who had her heart set on being a beautician, was a wee bit disappointed. Instead she is happily married and the only beauty work she practices is on her own family.
Loreen Gilmour--Who was always a career woman at heart, with her music and even disposition, is now principal of a large grade school and has acquired a great deal of poise. Incidentally, her work still comes first.
Doris Gulneck--From all reports she has now given up her chewing gum for fear of sticking it in people's hair. Yes, she finally got to Beautician's school after much debating between that and marriage. She is now very busy iwth her hair-does and her husband.
Frances Hait--Who has always been known for her outstanding athletic ability has dyed her hair red, so she could be the star forward on the All-American Redheads, the nationally known girls' basketball team.
Rose LiPuma--Who is noted for her dancing ability and new dance routine is now working for Arthur Murray--teaching him dancing in a hurry. Incidentally, kids, she losing weight fast, literally dancing off the pounds. Wou wouldn't, dancing days and nights, too?
Wallace Many--Who could be called the Einstein of South Kortright, has lost his mind and is now in a padded cell in Binghamton. From all reports, this illness is temporary--it comes and goes from straining the brain beyond normal endurance.
Betty Martin--Who always had a way with children, is now teaching Kindergarten in a mid-western town. According to all reports she gets along okay with the principal who is 35 and unmarried. Good luck, Betts.
Kenneth Martin--Who had a cmplex for hamburg on the hoof and Ford cars has finally invented a Ford with rubber fenders (they won't crumple). How are you coming with your invention for a hearing aid for the cows?
Wendell Martin--Who had his Monday nights all tied up with a certain gal has finally forgotten her after an unsuccessful engagement and is sticking strictly to agriculture. Farming, that is.
Romolo Melucci--Who was our star basketball player is now manager of a successful All-Star Team. His heart won't allow him to take part in the game, but it is standing up pretty well under the strain of his crush on his new blonde secretary.
Vivian Nesbitt--Who was always good in business subjects likes her new secretarial position to the above mentioned manager. In her spare time, which she has a lot of, she plays lullabies on her cornet to her horse.
Marjorie Reynolds--Who always had trouble with her bangs has finally let them grow. She has too much to do keeping house to bother to curl them every night.

Howard Rich--Who was noted for his musical ability has not given it up entirely. Although chicken raising had the upper hand for awhile, he now gets plenty of both. He plays for his chickens, so they will lay more eggs.
Wanda Rifenburgh--Who had a fiery temper to match her hair has joined the Waves to help out in World War III. Incidentally her husband is a sailor. Maybe that explains it.
Hugh Rose--Who was always noted for his vocabulary is now pretty busy with his herd of Brown Swiss. The only trouble is that Hugh always seems to be on the wrong end of the cow as far as teaching vocabulary goes. However, He is still
pretty good at it, considering his drawbacks.
Helen Sanford--Who was always excellent in 4-H and Homemaking is now a full fledged Home Ec. teacher, but from all reports, she's given out some pretty tough assignments. She spends her spare time taking flying lessons.
Thelma Snedeker (alias Sally)--Not too much is known about Sally, but from all reports she still gets around as much as ever. Lucky girl, isn't she?
Bill Walldroff--Bill is now in his glory taking the feminine lead in a new Broadway play. Can't be he has lived own his role as "Evie" in our Sneior Play of 1946. You never shoulda' done it, Bill!
Now you can readily see to what great heights this illustrious, distinguished, brilliant, colossal, sagacious,, interminable, unfathomalbe class of 1946 will soar.
