Majorettes

The highest-stepping majorettes have entertained crowds several times this year at basketball games and too high praise cannot be offered them. Led by Dorothy Robertson they perfected several breath-taking routines and let the band in an inspiring manner at basketball games. Mr. Houck is their advisor.

For the fifth year Mr. Houck has turned out a band worthy of the praise bestwowed upon it. The band performed at the basketball games this year and marched at one, led by the Majorettes. The fouth annual band concert as presented May 25. Several band members represented this school at the Sectional Contenst for soloists at Delhi.
The members of the Junior Band have worked hard this year to obtain their goal -- ability to play in the Senior Band. The yahve not appeared publickly but they have practiced diligently under the direction of Mr. Houck.
