Drum Majoring
The drum majorettes have a very small chance of appearing in public this year but have not given up hopes as yet. They still are twirling a "mean" batan 10th periods Wednesday, with the assistance of Mr. Houck. The preset majorettes are Doris Rivanera, Margaret Tyler, Helen King, Dorothy Robertson, and Anna Hitt.
Also there are some small members of the group who are evidently getting an early start in the art of drum majoretting.

Swing Band
A Swing Band has just been organized by a group of high school "Swingerettes." From what we have heard, they really "beat" it out. The popular songs have been ordered, and practice begins Wednesday, tenth period. The band consists of the following:
Joe Golon, John King, Stanley Sturgess, Stanley Wickham, Allan Beach, Mary Barbara Rich, Howard Rich, Eleanor Cowan, Elizabeth Rowe, Wallace Rich
We can assume that all the high school jitter-bugs will be ready to cut a mean rug to their melodies.
